I spent this afternoon helping my dad take boxes from the back porch to the basement. Most of these boxes contained useless junk or stuff myparents dont need so they had a yard sale to try to make some money but now the sale is over and everything has to return to the basement. It killed my back but we got most of the stuff down there today.

Later I went to the store and got a money order for my cable bill and then I went to KFC and bought some food.

Now im at home watching television andn eating Popcorn chicken and playing around online/

Politics Oct. 12th, 2008 @ 11:29 am
Well November 4th is right around the corner and whether your Republican or Democrat make sure you exxercide your right to vote this year. And that being said I shall now get partisan. If politics turn you off or piss you off please stop reading now.

I have always been an underdog...I have always rooted for the underdog, the little guy. So it makes sense that I became a liberal simply becuase of the focus of the two opposing political parties. Liberals focus on the common man, the working clas and thr issues pertaining to him (her). Conservative liberals have as borader persective, they focus on large, nameless faceless corporations as well as wealthier citizens.

Democrats have always pushed personal social freedom, the right to choice when it comes to abortion, civil rights, equal rights for women, etc, etc...

I find it highly ironic the same right wing republicans that bitch amd moan about giving their tax dollars to entitlement programs like welfare are so quick to give billions to troubled companys like AIG now that some economic turbulence has begun. But then again these same rich republicans are the ones who put people on welfare and by shipping jobs overseas to save money. These are the same jokers who say lets deregulate the utilites and have people pay the fair, natural market price...(of course prices skyrocketed)But now when these companies screw up they want to intervene and get involved....so much for fair and natural.

autumn Sep. 18th, 2008 @ 12:41 am
Autumn has arrived.

I have already noticed the changes in the leaves of the trees and the night time temperature has dropped considerably. The daytime (when not raining) is still sunny and bright but autumn comes to the night first I have discovered, The apple tree in front of my apartment has begun to drop its red fruit and whenever I leave or pull into the drive-way I can hear them squish beneath my tires.

For me.... Sep. 4th, 2008 @ 01:40 pm
I know that the first days of the four seasons are usually on the 22nd or 23rd of certain months depending on the year. But for me..for simplicities sake...I have always ronded the days off to the 15th of the month:

So fall would start on September 15th

winter would begin on decemmber 15th

spring would start march 15th

and summer would begin june 15th.

Not sure why im posting this but thats how I think when it comes to the seasons.

Been awhile... Sep. 3rd, 2008 @ 12:57 pm
Dear Reader (if any)

Sorry for not posting in awhile but I got busy with life and stuff and my boss went on vacation leaving me in chargeand I think I did okay but as usual when im left in charge things go wrong....such as this...

Saturday...my last day at work before my boss returns and I had a major customer incident...listen to this...

It was breakfast time and I had a young kid named Zack on drive-thru...a lady comes through drive-through and orders a croissant only sausage. She tels Zack her son is highly allergic to eggs and Zack says okay and when Zack goes to give her the order she asks...is their egg in the croissant? Zacks says no..its a croissant only sausage"

Lady leaves..(mind you I didnt know about this to later) Then the lady calls all upset about how her son is allergic to eggs and now the kid was throwing up in a gas station and how they may have to go to the hospital. So I apologize and get her info and email my district manager ..who calls the lady...then my district manager calls me back yelling....

It turns out the lady asked Zack if there was eggs INSIDE the croissanwich, not on the croissanwich and Zack misunderstood her and the kid therefor gets sick. My district manager tells me to make this young minimum wage kid feel bad so he doesnt make a mistake like that again. Obviously I didnt...not to say it wasn't a serious incident but it was a common miscommunication. Zack had a headset on with another car trying to order while this lady was asking about eggs in sanswiches. Well I feel the blame lies with the mother. The cashier is a minimum wage making teenager who has never been trained about the ingredients in certain foods. THATS WHY WE HAVE A NUTRITIONAL CHART ON THE FUCKING WALL. THATS WHY IF YOU FLIP YOUR TRAY PLACEMAT OVER ..GUESS WHAT THERES A NUTRITIONAL GUIDE...THATS WHY WE HAVE NUTRITIONAL GUIDE PAMPHETS ON FRONT COUNTER.

IF THIS LADY'S 4 YEAR OLD SON WAS SO SENSITIVE TO EGGS SHE SHOULD HAVE PARKED HER CAR AND WALKED INSIDE AND ASKED TO TALK TO THE MANAGER OR AT LEAST LOOKED AT A CHART.

Now...(calming down)..I have spoken to all my cashiers about the importance of allergies and whenever a guests says someone has an allergy and asks a question to go get a manager or to at least direct the person to the nutritional guide on the wall nearby.

Nor am I not saying this isnt a serious thing..but they wanted me to blame a kid for a miscommunication. What if Zack...feeling terrible decided to commit suicide? No...Im not placing blame on him when the blame and the responsibility lies with the mother of the allergic boy. And of course we haven't anything else about the issue.
